Ricon Klearvue Wheelchair Lifts

One of the biggest complaints of wheelchair lift users is that they block the side or rear windows of the van when in the stowed position. By creating a bi-fold lift, the engineers at VMI and Ricon have improved lines of sight and eliminated blind spots when the lift is stowed inside the mobility vehicle.

As with most lifts from Ricon, the Klearvue has a sturdy steel construction with non-skid platform for maximum durability and safety. Because of the unique folding action, no modifications are necessary to the van doors to easily store stow the lift—a 51 inch platform stores comfortably in a 48 inch door opening. Manual back up systems ensure that, in the unlikely event of lift failure, the lift can still be lowered and raised in case of emergency.

Add Sure-Grip hand controls, a Ricon Transfer Seat, and power door openers with a remote, and you get a fully accessible wheelchair accessible vehicle. With a weight rating of 600 pounds or 800 pounds with an optional install kit buy with confidence knowing that your lift has the strength to lift most power wheelchairs.

By adding power door openers operated with a hand held remote or magnetic switch, full size wheelchair vans become totally accessible when you include Sure Grip Hand Controls and a Ricon Transfer seat. For more information on these exciting features, contact our Certified Mobility Consultants today!
