Ricon Reliant Wheelchair Lifts
One of the earliest wheelchair lifts on the market, the Reliant lift has earned its namesake from its reputation, reliability. After so many years of production, the Ricon Reliant is still in production because of its simple yet powerful design.
Featuring an all steel frame and dual posts, the Reliant has more than enough power to get the job done, while superior engineering allows for more interior space than similar mobility lifts on the market today. Sto-Lok technology provides safety by locking the lift in the stowed position, ensuring the lift will not deploy from your handicap van until you want it to. There are manual back up features that come standard with every Ricon lift that allow for emergency use in the unlikely event of product failure.
The Reliant also offers one of the most versatile platform sizes, offering enough space to accommodate up to a 51 inch long mobility device. All that versatility has not compromised the strength of the lift—the Ricon Reliant can accommodate up to 600 pounds, or even 800 pounds with optional install kits.
As with many wheelchair lift models, the Reliant can be modified for total independent use with the addition of a remote control and power door openers in most full size handicap vans. For a complete mobility solution, install hand controls or a transfer seat.
